AUSTRALIA - THE LAND DOWN UNDER
As a child I always loved the concept of “The Great Australian Bight”. Visualising a prehistoric giant taking a huge bite out of the southern coast of Australia as if it was a cookie.
Flying over this recently I was amazed at how spectacular this appears from the air. The bite is certainly dramatic, with its pristine strip of white carving it’s way across southern coast of Australia, forming the perfect division between land and sea.
From this view point it was hard to decide which I preferred. Both landscapes had their own appeal. Which do you prefer? The land or the sea?
